Many women work hard to bring a voice of reason to the debates raging in our society about a host of issues. These women work in a variety of fields. Some work on their own, while others are involved with organizations. Some of these women volunteer, while others have built careers in certain fields.

We salute women who strive to educate others in an effort to strengthen women, families, communities, and the United States of America.

Cheers to American Maggie!

American Maggie is a recently launched site offering a voice to conservative women. The site has excellent information and great links. Named for Prime MInister Margaret Thatcher, the site aims to support the free exchange of ideas.

Phyllis Schlafly stands out as one of the most influential women of modern times.  While her work to promote conservative principles began in the 1960s, she became a lightening rod in the 1970s when she countered the movement for the Equal Rights Amendment.

Mrs. Schlafly founded the Eagle Forum as an organization to promote a pro-family agenda. The Eagle Forum is an incredible resource, offering a wealth of information about countless issues facing our society.

Mrs. Schlafly has authored or edited 20 books, publishes a monthly newsletter now in its 38th year, writes a syndicated column that appears in over 100 newspapers, and offers a daily radio commentary that is heard on over 450 radio stations every day. Read Mrs. Schlafly’s complete bio to learn more about her.

Mrs. Schlafly deserves commendation for the countless contributions she has made to public discourse. She is an inspiration for all women because she is A Woman Who Thinks.
