The list of issues facing our society can be overwhelming, but a democracy requires its citizens to actively engage in the political process. In order to engage in this process, citizens have a duty to educate themselves about as many issues as possible.
We encourage women who are just beginning to enter the fray to start to explore just one issue. As many important issues overlap each other, there will be a natural acquisition of information about other issues.
